Route Description
During the 30-day Ama Dablam Expedition, you walk on the famous Khumbu trekking trails. We will head to the Ama Dablam Base Camp by following the same paths as the treks to Everest Base Camp. We need to get to the Ama Dablam Base Camp first because we will be going higher up the Ama Dablam peak.
We will start our trip in Kathmandu and then go to Lukla. When we get to the Khumbu area, we'll follow the same trek routes as those to Everest Base Camp. From Lukla, we start our trek to Phakding. We will rest for the day and then go to the Namche bazaar. After getting used to the altitude and resting, we'll head to Pheriche. On the way, we'll stop at places like Tengboche Monastery, the beautiful village of Dingboche, and other small villages. You can now see the beautiful mountain views clearly.
Ama Dablam Base Camp is a day's walk from Pheriche. Our trip to the top of Ama Dablam has begun. You will climb the peak for the next 13-15 days until you reach the top and then head back to the base camp. Your first stop from the base camp will be the high camp I. After you get through the technical part, you will go camping II and then Camp III. You will need to take breaks to get used to the altitude. After you get to Camp III, the next climb will take you to the top of the mountain. On the way back, you will follow the same path you took to get there. You will pass through Namche, Pheriche, and Dingboche on your way back to Lukla. At Lukla, you'll take a flight back to Kathmandu, and the trip will end with a goodbye dinner in Kathmandu.
