Paragliding is one of the best adventure being up in the sky which provide the opportunity for aerial view of the Himalayas. This trip will take you over some of the best scenery on earth, nothing can beat the thrill of being up in the sky, flying like a bird in the thermals all the while enjoying view as you share airspace with Himalayan griffin, kites, lakes, mountains, jungles along with an amazing view of the majestic Himalaya. 

Since 1995 with the low lying valleys and the high cold mountains, Nepal provides some of the best paragliding experience in the world with its natural rising thermals. The best season is October- April and the sport is getting ever more popular. You can sign in as a beginner where three-day introduction course is offered where one can fly with instructor are offered. 

In few short years pokhara has earned a reputation of being one of the best paragliding destination in the world. Sarangkot in Pokhara is the paragliding destination from where the flight takes off. The spot is 1592m from sea level. In this flight you will enjoy series of towering mountains namely Mt. Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Lamjung Himal, Annapurna, and Himalchuli. After the tour you safely land in Lakeside. 

There are two types of Paragliding Tour:-

Paragliding Tour Type 01 - Cloud Buster

In this type of flight, we take off from Sarangkot and fly above the valley receiving the breath-taking view of ridges of trees, beautiful villages and also people shouting from below looking at you. We return back from the flight gliding over the lake.

Paragliding Tour 02 - Cross Country 

This flight allows you to get an adventurous experience of the exploration side of flying. Each day is different day so routes can be changed accordingly and provide the slightly different condition. There is the possibility of flying along ridge leading down the valley past Fewa Lakes, Prostate with Annapurna range to your right. On the other hand, we cross the valley and soar directly at these stunning 6000m+ peaks. we will return to land near the lake.

Gear list 

Windproof jackets and sturdy shoes are required for this sport to prevent getting caught from cold and other factors. 

Clothing basics involves tracksuit, Shirt and Sweater, Underwear, jacket, glove, socks, raincoat and (Clothes should be carried according to the prevailing weather condition of Nepal-Pokhara).

Other necessary personal kids and first aid kit with water bottle, camera, sunglasses etc.
